Little Blessings Contest ending soon!

Thank you all who have already sent in your nominations! If you still have a nomination to send in, be sure to do so by May 31 to contest@timelessportraitsbyamber.com . Although I am not judging the contest I have read the entries and there are so many deserving children and I dearly wish I could make them all winners. In addition to the grand prize winner I have come up with second and third place prizes as well. First place winner will win a special studio session, gift package and oufit to keep. Second place will win a studio session and $100 print credit and third place will win a studio session. Winners will be announced here on June 1st by first name only and I will post some of the images from their sessions if they give permission to do so. Out of respect and sensitivity to the winners I will not be posting the details of their nominations, unless they wish to share their stories. Thank you all who have participated and helped make this contest a success!

A few recent favorites

I've had several sessions over the last couple of weeks. Some new clients and some returning ones, but all great kiddos! Emily is one of my 2008 seniors. Besides being a beautiful young lady, she had a wonderful personality and I know she has a bright and promising future ahead! Sweet little Emma came for her 3 month photos and while I typically find that a challenging age because of their inablitly to support themselves, she was just a delight! All smiles from the time she arrived, and never a fuss! Although I don't typically photograph only adults, I was honored to photograph my Pastor and his wife for their 50th wedding anniversary! Can you imagine 50 years??? What a sweet and loving couple they are. Miss Ella came for her 3 month photos (just a couple of weeks late, but still oh so tiny) and still has a head full of beautiful dark brown hair. I had the honor of photographing her sweet parents just before she was born and also did her newborn pics and she is just a sweet beautiful little girl. I love seeing these little ones grow and change! I did an emergency session for Miss Riley as she lives out of town and happened to be staying nearby for the weekend just before her 3rd birthday. I was so glad that I was able to fit them in! Some of you will recognize her from my splash page! Miss Katie and her sweet brother Even came to me around a year ago and were not too interested in being photographed. We got some wonderful images, but they sure made us work for them. What a difference a year made. They were the sweetest and most cooperative little ones and we got tons of great pics! It helps too that they are both just adorable!!! I've been photographing Miss Lilyana for some time now and she is just a delight every time. She's a little harder to catch these days but that is just how it is with toddlers. Isn't she beautiful! Little Addison put up with me for quite some time outdoors and warm sticky weather and never complained once. I just fell in love with this beautiful little girl who was willing to do anything we asked as long as we let her slip on her tiny silver sandles in between shoots. What a doll!

Congratulations 2008 seniors!

Well it's that time of year, the kids are getting antsy and excited about school being out. Some more than others though. I've had the honor of photographing some awsome young adults this year, that will be graduating at the end of this month. Best wishes to Kamie, Janna, Cameron, Emily, Cassie, Christopher, Bryan M., Kimmy, Trisha, and Bryan C. I hope that the future continues to be bright and promising for these great seniors.
